Free & Reduced Meals
-
USDA has made it possible for all students to receive FREE MEALS for the 2021-2022 school year, regardless of household income status.
Although meals are free for the 2021-2022 school year, the Free & Reduced application if approved, provides other program discounts. (Textbooks, SATs, Compass Club, etc.)

Free Textbooks
-
Did you know your child(ren) may qualify for FREE TEXTBOOKS? If you believe you may be eligible, all you need to do is complete the Free & Reduced application. You can pick up this form at your child’s school, or you can print, fill out, and return this application.
Please refer to the chart for income requirements.
This school year, because many families are facing financial hardships, SCM is providing free meals to all students. However, families seeking Textbook Assistance are still required to complete the Free & Reduced application, including Step 5 requesting Textbook Assistance.
Another important reminder, you must complete both sides of the form for free textbooks, and you can do it any time during the school year. If your income changes, you can apply for these programs up until the last day of the school year.
If you have any questions, please contact your school or call 574-254-4508.
