Buses are assigned according to number of riders, destinations and/or availability. It is important to state the actual number of riders (in the box in the middle of the form). It is unlawful for students to sit in the aisle. If a teacher reserves one bus, but then indicates more riders than a bus is legally allowed to transport, a second bus will be assigned. It is also important to indicate at the top of the form if you need bus with a wheelchair lift.

NOTE: The Driver has the authority to refuse to transport more riders than the stated bus capacity. In addition to the safety factor, the driver’s license would be in jeopardy if stopped by the authorities.
