    Below is helpful information to prepare for the upcoming Summer Learning Adventures and Elementary Summer Camp.

    WHO IT'S FOR:
    GRADES K-5 (Based on current 2020-21 school year)

    WHEN & WHERE:

    • IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION: Monday - Friday
    • DATES: June 7 - July 2, 2021
    • TIMES: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
      • Doors open at 8:15 AM
      • Breakfast provided at 8:15 AM, Lunch provided
    • LOCATION: Beiger Elementary School, 1600 East 3rd Street, Mishawaka
       

    SUPPLIES NEEDED:

    • Chromebook. Any additional supplies will be provided to the students.
    • NOTE: Face masks are required. On Friday, May 28, 2021, Governor Holcomb expanded the mask mandate for K-12 schools through June 30, 2021. This means all students and staff will continue wearing masks as has been the practice since the start of the 2020-2021 school year. This mask mandate extension will also impact students and staff participating in summer school but does allow for masks to be removed when outdoors, even while on school properties.

    PARENT DROP OFF/PICK UP:
    If you will be dropping off/pick up your child(ren) at Beiger Elementary School, please follow the drop off/pick up your child(ren) at the appropriate locations (click map to enlarge).

    TRANSPORTATION:
    If you signed up for transportation to/from your child's SCM home school, the pick up/drop off schedule is listed below.

      • Please assist the Transportion Department by being at the school to pick up your child(ren) promptly each day or remind your child that they are to walk or ride their bicycle home immediately after being dropped off by the bus drivers.
      • Remind your child that the bus service is a priviledge and that cooperative attitudes and respect toward others is expected at all times.
      • If students are not picked up at their home school, they will be brought to the Administration Center. Parent(s) will then be contacted to pick up their child there.
      • To help students easily identify the bus they'll be riding, buses will have a colored square in the front window by the door. The colored square designations are listed with the transporation schedule.
