Student Device Pickup

  • All K-12 students will be issued an SCM device. Families may pick up their student’s device to support virtual learning on the dates listed below. Students that currently have a School City of Mishawaka Chromebook that needs to be repaired may bring those as well during the designated pick up times. When bringing in a device for repair, please bring the device and charger.

    I NEED A DEVICE, WHAT DO I DO:

    Call the Tech Hotline at 574-254-7795 to set up an appointment. The hotline is available Monday-Friday at 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM.



    STUDENT DEVICE PICKUP FAQ

    What to bring to device pickup?
    Name of student(s). The Technology Department will verify enrollment of students.

    Does the student(s) have to be present?
    No, students do not need to be present.

    If I have multiple children, do they share a device?
    No. Each student will be issued a device

    If a student was in 8th grade (going into 9th grade), do they keep the device they have?
    They need to bring the device and charger with them. They'll be getting a new device.

    Do students keep a device if they already have one?
    Only enrolled students entering grades 10-12 will keep their device. If they are in those grades and the device is broken, they can bring it and get a new one.

    What if I have a device from summer school?
    They need to bring the device and charger with them. They'll be getting a new device.

    Can a student use their own computer or laptop they have at home?
    No. They will need to use a School City of Mishawaka issued device.

    What if I'm having trouble logging into my device, email, Canvas, or Clever?
