Back to School Information

  • Information will be shared in this section so you and your child(ren) are prepared for the 2024-2025 school year by August 14, 2024.

    • Enrollment Forms: Families need to complete important documents for each enrolled student for the 2024-2025 school year.

    • JYMS Fall Sports: Find information about the Fall Sports Physicals, coaches, tryout,  and practices.

    • Elementary Open Houses: This is a great opportunity to meet their teacher(s), see their classroom, and help your child feel confident for the first day of school.

    • MHS Back to School Events: Find information about school pictures, student IDs, Freshman Orientation, and sports physicals.

    • Before/After School Programming: Learn more about the before/after school programs offered at all of our elementary schools and after school program at JYMS in partnership with Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County.

    • School Year Calendar: Make sure you are prepared for the entire school year by checking out the 2024-2025 school year calendar.

    • Skyward Parent Absence Entry: Parents are able to enter their child's absence in Skyward.

    • Blocksi: Parents/guardians can set parental controls for their child's School City of Mishawaka issued device.

    • ParentSquare: School City of Mishawaka uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number.

    • Mishawaka Parent Group: Learn more about the Mishawaka Parent Group.

    • Food Service Updates: Learn about meal costs, Free & Reduced applications online, student meal accounts (MySchoolBucks), menus, and more.

    • 2024-2025 K-6 School Supply Lists: The only item required for K-6 is a backpack.

    • Textbook Fees: Indiana House Bill 1216 requires each public school to provide curricular materials at no cost to each student enrolled in the public school.

    • Immunizations: Information to ensure your child is up-to-date on immunizations.

    • Student Devices: Everything you need to know about student Chromebooks to be prepared for the start of the school year.

    • Free & Reduced Meals: These forms are required in order to receive free/reduced meals.

    • Transpo: JYMS and MHS students ride Transpo FREE with their student ID.
