Outgoing School Board Vice President Amanda Roberts Celebrated

The School Board had a special recognition of outgoing Vice-President Amanda Roberts at Wednesday (June 8, 2022) night's school board meeting.
 
Board of School Trustees Vice President Amanda Roberts has announced her resignation effective June 15, 2022. Roberts has received a career opportunity that requires her to relocate to Indianapolis. This move means she will not be able to finish her appointed term which expires on December 31, 2025.
 
Mrs. Roberts was appointed by the Mishawaka Common Council in November 2017 and she began her first term in January 2018. During her time as a school board member, Roberts has been a part of the Finance/Audit Committee and Learning by Design: The Mishawaka Way Committee. School Board President Holly Parks shared, “On behalf of the school board and Superintendent Wayne Barker, we thank Amanda for the tireless work and dedication she has demonstrated to our students, families, staff and the community. We are sorry to be losing Amanda, however, are thankful for the value and leadership she brought to the school board these past four and a half years.”
