School City has Activity Buses available for trips. The same rules as stated above apply to reserve these buses. The driver must be an employee of School City of Mishawaka and complete the Driver Form (see your school secretary) and submit a photocopy of his/her driver’s license. This form is good for the current year only and is kept on file in the Transportation Office. When using the wheelchair lift activity bus, the driver will need to know how to accurately secure the wheelchair.

As there is no bus driver, the teacher in charge is responsible for cleaning/securing the activity bus. If this is not done correctly, the school and/or group using the activity bus will be charged the hours needed for cleaning by the Building and Grounds Department.

Mileage is charged to the school using an activity bus. A form will be given to the driver to complete.
