Substitute Inservice/Ad Center

School City of Mishawaka will be conducting an in-service at the Administrative Center on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m. You are required to attend an in-service prior to employment as a substitute. The in-service will include a review of School City of Mishawaka’s expectations for substitute teachers, including certification, dress code, classroom management, use of lesson plans, etc. We will also provide a presentation of the AESOP program that we use to link substitutes to classroom assignments.      

Please note that School City of Mishawaka ID pictures will be taken for those applicants that have completed the substitute application packet in its entirety and once we have the results of the criminal background.  We recommend that you complete an application prior to the in-service.
