Kindergarten Kickstart

Getting ready for kindergarten? We’ve got the perfect head start!

Strong early childhood experiences—whether at home or in a program—play a big role in helping children succeed in kindergarten. That’s why School City of Mishawaka is excited to offer our Kindergarten Kickstart Program—designed to help incoming students feel confident, prepared, and excited for their first day of school!

Led by our very own SCM kindergarten teachers, this FREE program features fun, developmentally appropriate activities focused on early literacy, math, and social skills—all while helping students ease into the school environment.

Your child will:
✅ Get to know their teachers
✅ Meet new friends
✅ Build skills and confidence for a successful start

Program Details:
📅 July 22 – July 31, 2026 (Monday–Friday)
⏰ 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
📍 Your child’s enrolled elementary school
💲 FREE

This program is open to students enrolled in kindergarten at an SCM elementary school for the 2026–2027 school year.
