Exceptional Learners Department Recognized with Talent Trailblazer Award

School City of Mishawaka’s Exceptional Learners (EL) Department has been awarded the Talent Trailblazer Award from Indiana University South Bend, recognizing outstanding leadership, dedication, and service.
The honor was presented during an April 19, 2026 event that celebrated individuals and groups who have made a meaningful impact and demonstrated strong leadership within the IUSB community and beyond.
The award reflects the collective efforts of the EL Department’s students, faculty, and staff, whose commitment to excellence supports student growth and achievement every day. Their work continues to strengthen both the school community and its partnerships beyond the district.
