Game Changer Award
SCM Game Changer Award
Each month, School City of Mishawaka (SCM) proudly recognizes one outstanding educator with the SCM Game Changer Award — an honor celebrating teachers who have made a measurable impact on student learning and growth.
This award highlights educators whose dedication, innovation, and support have led to significant academic progress for their students. While all SCM teachers are committed to helping students succeed, our Game Changer recipients go above and beyond in their efforts to inspire excellence.
November 2025 Honoree: Aryana Taylor
We are proud to recognize Mrs. Aryana Taylor, a dedicated 4th-grade teacher at LaSalle Elementary School, as the recipient of the November Game Changer Award. This recognition honors her remarkable commitment to student growth and academic excellence in mathematics.
Mrs. Taylor’s exceptional teaching effectiveness is reflected in her students’ impressive academic gains. Between the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 Math ILEARN testing windows, she increased her students’ proficiency rate from 30% to 57%. Even more notably, her students’ overall math performance exceeded both the state and district averages.
Through her passion for teaching and focus on results-driven instruction, Mrs. Taylor continues to make a lasting impact on her students and the school community. We proudly celebrate her as a true Game Changer!
